John Hampton, the eleven-year-old son of Alonzo and Elizabeth Hampton, died at eleven-twenty-five, Wednesday night of tuberculosis of the bone. The funeral will take place at two on Friday at the home of his parents, on west Spring street, with interment at Masonic cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
